‘Pinaka’ and ‘Brindhavihari’: Ganesh starrers lock release dates

‘Golden’ star Ganesh, who gave a hit with his previous outing, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, is gearing up for the release of two movies. The Kannada actor will be seen in Pinaka and Brindhavihari.

Pinaka, produced by People Media Factory, is set to hit the screens on October 02, 2026. The movie is directed by Dhananjaya and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and TG Krithi Prasad.

Pinaka is said to have a story that spreads across two timelines. The movie is touted as one of the big-budget projects of Ganesh’s career. The makers said in an official release that Ganesh is set to play a character he has never essayed in his career, and called the film a “family entertainer.”

Brindhavihari brings back the director-actor combination of Srinivas P Raju and Ganesh after Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi (2024). Devika Bhat and Malavika Sharma will play the female leads in the movie.

Produced by Samruddhi V Manjunath, Brindhavihari is set to release on October 16, 2026. Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam (2022) and Hi Nanna (2023) fame is the music composer for the movie.

The songs ‘Radha Radha’ and ‘Jeeva Jeeva’ have received a positive response from the audience. Brindhavihari is touted to be an emotional relationship drama. The actor is also working on Yours Sincerely Raam, co-starring Ramesh Aravind and Tammma Sukhagamana Bayasuva, from the director of Theertharoopa Thandeyavarige and Hondisi Bareyiri (2023).

Ganesh was last seen in Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, which was released on August 15, 2024, and went on to become a commercial success. Music from Arjun Janya was the major highlight of the relationship drama, with ‘Dwapara’, sung by Jaskaran Singh and written by V Nagendra Prasad, becoming an internet sensation.
